Jim Clark was Senna’s hero, and he visited the Jim Clark museum at least once.

Sadly not. These all had a potter up the A15 though.

I went round in the lorry, it looked well shabby next to the others.

Did you buy that Comet from a chap in/near Donington Mr cros? Only asking as my postie's father and grandad were into restoring old lorries and he's mentioned that they had a Leyland Comet which he drove (or moved a bit when he was a lad) in their workshop which was on the A52 near Donington.

Christ no, mine was the brown one. The Comet still lives at that workshop as far as I know.

The Seddon? Very nice, have seen something like that around here on the back of a modern lorry going off to an event I guess. Their Comet was sold a while ago and both his father and grandad have passed away, his father last year was only 57. The workshop on the A52 now specialises in those bloody awful VW campers, hateful things.
