lol, yeah it is a bit low, not been moved in a little while either... It's actually fully badged up as a Sprite, not a Midget.
It is a Sprite....Midgets would have a chrome rubbing strip still that year.
Only thing I could remember was the single chrome strip up the bonnet on Sprites & no idea what year that was.

I did wonder, I'd have assumed it would have had the double back window if fitted with them, presumably these came along just after?
Split window ended in early 1953, oval one-piece lasted until mid-57......
Your historic motorised vehicle knowledge is astounding. How did you learn, was it just an active interest?
You should try university challenge.

I have a thing with number plates. Give me the date letter and I can tell you the year instantly. The same with music. Play a song from my lifetime and I can tell you the year.

Too many formative years spent reading Autocar, Motor - not just current issues but hoovering up any that relatives or dodgy old men were chucking out. I can do the number plate thing but am less confident with pop tunes - although I do have an intimate knowledge of British rock and roll 1958-61!

I would also rather read an encyclopedia than a great work of fiction - probably why I was shit at school but quite handy in a pub quiz.....
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Not spotted as such, yet, but when I was rustproofing my MG recently I chatted a bit to a neighbour, Steve, who was doing his roof. Apparently his missus has a Suzuki Swift Convertible which was due back on the road just after Covid hit so it's been in his garage since then. He reckons that there's less than ten left here so I'll be interested to see it when it appears, which should be soon by what he said.

I think so but someone on here will no doubt know for definite.

From Wiki:

The Suzuki Swift began in 1983 as a marketing and manufacturing rebadge of the Suzuki Cultus, a supermini (or subcompact) manufactured and marketed worldwide across three generations and four body configurations—three-door hatchback, four-door sedan, five-door hatchback and two-door convertible—and using the Suzuki G engine family.

I've never drove a v12. I've owned a few V8s but never the ultimate.
I can't remember ever hearing one in real life.

I was lucky enough to drive one of those back home about 150 miles some years back. Jazzy an Indian lad from the local Spar shop a few doors up wanted to buy it so a mate and I went with him to look over it and he bought it. It was owned by some American Air Force bod who was moving back home. He'd fitted angel eyes to it and stuffed two K and N's in each corner of the bonnet. It had a full red leather interior too, proper pimp my ride/drug dealer spec, it was fucking great.

I drove it back on third party cover as he was only 21 or so so hadn't got any cover, iirc it was changing up into top at about 120mph on the way back, it sounded absolutely epic at full chat
