Ah, I see.

Lower, flatter shape than its contemporaries due to monocoque rather than ladder chassis construction, I suppose.

Traction Avant only looks like it's styled as everything else they made was even worse

205 looks more dated than the Cortina. Ford did a good job there.

Yeah, mid-sixties designs have worn very well. The motoring equivalent of Georgian architecture - just looks right.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Mid 60s designs were when cars were designed as cars with enough technology to work & nowt else.
