Mc Donald's should not be eaten in that Riley, certainly not taken in a drive-thru. It should be a flask of lukewarm tea and corn dog sarnies.

Really? Didn't know that. In which case I withdraw my objection, unless the person in question is eating one of those filthy american things.

I didn't see the pic btw, but a mate of mine has a coachbuilt 1930s Riley racer with (weirdly) a pre-selector gearbox – see pics below – so I just made a balls-out assumption. Mea culpa.

That's a proper Riley when of course they were sports cars.....Looks like a homage to the famous Freddie Dixon White Riley. Freddie was one of the unsung characters of pre-war motor sport - sort of a Newcastle Brown edition of a Bentley Boy....

Yep, it's an absolute gem. It sounds bloody good too, and doesn't hang around.
