In this condition is exactly how I remember these back in the 70s.

Lovely Highline Zephyr, I had a couple of Zodiacs, great cars. Back in the 70's there were still loads of them clinging to life or being banger raced. Or becoming custom cars. I'd love another one but a nice one is pricey now.

Also in the spotted vein, a tidy MG Midget went past my house, it was the rubber bumper version, a very clean F-reg Micra K10 was seen as I walked back from the village shop and I had a Rover 2200 P6 following me a few days ago as I drove into town. Also saw an old Impala and Anglia but that's cheating as they're mine :-)

There are still a few around Mk2s around like that one. One of the Dorset teds has a Consul in that sort of shape as his only car, totes around lawnmowers and strimmers in it as part of his gardening business.

That's a great number plate too, although SUN390 (Bill Yates & The T-Birds) is well towards the setting of that luminary record label.

Oddly enough there is one identical to that still trolling around here daily. Used to be two or three but the owners are gradually dying off, sadly.

I was just putting my camera away in the hotel at Ryde yesterday when something caught my eye....Sadly I was too late to get anything other than a mystery shot. It wasn't a real one, sadly but quite striking!
