Hello.

Post by Rickvw72 »

Hi all, another one who heard about the place on Autoshite, thought I’d check it out.

I don’t post much, but love checking out random old car stuff.

I own three old VWs and I’ve lowered them all. Thought I should confess straight away, it upsets some people.

Cheers.

Hello. Lowered vw's? You could improve them further by setting fire to them 🤣

Or raising them back up which is a better solution in my opinion.
I've got a normal height T2.

Afternoon, lowering I can understand on some cars. But owning a VW? that's beyond my comprehension.

Hi Rick. Coincidentally I’m off to look at a 72 Beetle next week all being well.

Don’t panic, they don’t scrape the floor or anything!

I’ve also got a rusty old Fourtrak, and that’s high enough for the whole fleet.

Pictures please.

I ran a Sportrak for a few years and have some other elderly VW’s in my history.

I bet you wished you'd never mentioned the lowered VWs now don't you? 😅
