Re: What did you do today?

Fitted central locking to the c1 over the last week. How'd have thought a 2010 car wouldn't have any form of central locking fitted. Parts for c1's are cheap of fleabay so picked up two door harness, the correct door latches complete with solenoids for 30 quid. Already had a chinky remote locking ki...

Flip flop truck, so was probably driving with one foot on the dashboard and didn't react in time. It's violent when you have a steer tyre blow but something amiss there.

Re: What did you do today?

It's weird because I've a few yuasa batteries that are 5 years old now and still working perfectly firing up a diesel. I must be just lucky. Now Bosch batteries I've had fail at six months old and I won't touch them anymore

Re: Sics Consolidated Moderns Thread - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E320 Estate

But I don't think it will ever get old and unfunny with some of the characters on there. Everyone has a different sense of humour though, anything toilet humour and id be nearly crying and the ex wife would be stoney glaring at me. It's good to be different, life would be boring otherwise

Re: What did you do today?

Van was collected yesterday. Was doing the maths and I think I owned it five years. Seems so strange opening the front door and not seeing it there. First time I've really felt this way about a car. Anyway it's living its new life in north Wales now. I do have to say the little c1 is a delight to dr...

Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

I was amazed someone bought the van before Christmas. The lancia project would have tempted me too if I was still working.

Re: What did you do today?

Twas 1300. Already got an aftermarket radio so I'll change that for the Bluetooth one out my van. If it's got central locking fitted if I can't sort it out as it's not got a remote key I'll fit a kit I already have from the great bunch of lads and use a fob button. I've always liked them as the hand...

Re: What did you do today?

Bought some cheap to run new wheels which has power steering. 2010 Citroen c1. Poverty spec with keep fit windows. So unfortunately the van has to go to buy money back in the piggy bank.

Re: Two wheels good.

Accidents, tumbles and your thoughts on your own mortality. How many times have you suffered a collision or tarmac interface situation? For some reason, I've never come off a bike. In my early days I put it down to being a riding god but with the benefit of hindsight, I was just incredibly lucky. T...
