Re: 2019 Anniversaries

Have some dismal 1959 shit. It was the last year you could buy this from Ford.... 103e.jpg Despite being called Popular it was a hateful thing. This couple have packed theirs with kindling and taken it out to be incinerated. The woman is getting very impatient as Dad can't seem to light the burning ...

Re: Listless owner with a listing R16

I had forgotten about the Pennant. Lovely things, by far the best of the little Standards. Mate had one back in the day and despite an unfortunate shade of dog-dick pink it provided many memorable jaunts....

Re: Wobland Spottage

Sprite owners in the Seventies must have been overjoyed when BL started the satin black sill finish. They could update* their cars with a massive tidemark....Next time we see this it will probably be resale red with an unnecessary new rear number plate and chrome wires. Those bumpers look nice, thou...

Re: The Real Field of Dreams

Strange how at home that P38 looks in a field of scrapped, older cars. As said, though, some of that VW trim will have survived and be valuable - the only things that can destroy some T2 and Beetle interior parts are Dubbers. Really do like pics like this, more so than car show ones!
