Re: What did you do today?
So, last night as I got back from the pub, I noticed that the front reg plate on the Ibiza was dangling by one screw. Thought, "fix that tomorrow", went to bed Took the dog up to the local woods this am totally forgetting about the reg plate, only noticed it was even more poorly when I wal...

Working on the principle that a shagged old Matiz, a 56 plate Note and a 62 plate Ibiza will be grateful for any oil and filter change

Re: What did you do today?
Did the N/S/R indicate on the Matiz. Wasn't faulty, bad contact. but lots of the orange paint fell off. Fortunately I had another one otherwise I'd have had to go and buy a box of Quality Street. Also did the Ibiza rear shocks, all the access is from under the wheel arch, you don't need to dismantle...

Re: What did you do today?
I bought a battery, with 3 year warranty, for €107. Strapped to the scooter seat, job achieved. Got home, took the old one out, new one in. Milometer flashing, radio not working, hunting on idle. Looking around the internet, seems I need to take it to a Fiat dealer to get it plugged into a Proxi ma...

Re: What did you do today?
Striped the front N/S suspension on the Mrs's Note and turned the coil spring upside down whilst it wasn't raining. I rebuilt it (in a rush) after the initial MoT for a broken spring and it passed OK and has been trundling around OK. Thing was when I drove it I noticed an occasional klunk and the la...

Re: You park like a cunt!
If you like bad parking, come to sunny Torquay! In fact, any car properly parked is probably a cop-car but even they appear to abandon it if they get close to a legit parking spot! OI.... I'll have you know I park extremely legally and considerately when I'm down there. Except when unloading outsid...

Re: What did you do today?
So yesterday, went to start the Matiz and it didn't. Well actually I put the battery back on after charging it a week or two ago and leaving it in the garage. Tester said charged but it didn't turn over as usual. Jump pack on it and running instantly. So I thought it'd be OK after a run. Went to Lid...
