Nearly took the front off a Merc convertible this afternoon that the elderly driver, with the top down and wind in his long hair propped out from the side street so he could see what was approaching.
Didn't notice any dogs in it, or were they hiding @xtriple !!!!!

And it will be considerably cheaper for a return train trip than fueling the Jag or Merc.....LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 2:51 pm Borrow one of XTs, they only seem to be used to go to the park so a 3-400 mile or whatever trip is bound to do it some good.

Re: What did you do today?
On Friday when I filled up the Ibiza I looked at the front tyres and thought "legal, but", so trolled down the local tyre place and had a couple of mid range bits of rubber fitted. That and tracking, N/S front has been wearing at the edge, emptied my wallet by £155 quid. Saturday set off f...

Re: What did you do today?
You should be down here enjoying the (near) constant rain and winds. You'd have no chance of hearing a noisy exhaust over the din of a flying dustbin barely missing the front of the Note! I have barely even stuck my nose out of the door today, pissed right off with being fucking wet through. Saturd...

Re: What did you do today?
Exciting things to do on a wet Wednesday in February number 8461. Lay on a wet drive changing the exhaust back box and section on the wife's Note. It was a little* bit noisier than when it got an advisory in the MoT so I ordered one on line and it turned up today. Mr Angry made getting it off easier...

Re: What did you do today?
So, my mate Dennis rocked up this lunchtime in his Octavia and I jumped in with a carrier bag containing Allen keys, Torex fittings and Chinese trim removal tools. The heavy infantry was in the boot. So, a pair of pensioners headed off to the Barnsley scrap yards because some cunt had smashed the dr...

Re: 1968 MG Midget
Every time I look at this Fred I look at the 'restored' B roadster outside the kitchen window and think "given what I already know about it, how much papier mache is actually holding it together". I really, really need to sort it, flog it, then sort the BGT out, afterall, moving the MIG we...
