I finished servicing my bike after work & then washed it. It even got it's annual wax, which means it'll rain for a month.

Oops, I must have failed to tighten a bolt up when I did the pads the other day as I found this when I wheeled the bike out to change the oil today... 20190428_145859.jpg I've now got a shiney replacement in place & just need to wait a few years for it to weather to suit. 20190428_150802.jpg

At a certain RPM, a solenoid opens an oilway in the head, engaging some hydraulic lifters that switch to the more aggressive cam profile.
