Re: EBay Finds

A30s had trafficators - so no indicator lamps to the front or rear, however quite a few got upgraded later to the A35 spec. I remember my Dad had to fiddle with the trafficators often to get them working. They were subject to water ingress and often jammed - and the weedy festoon bulbs weren't great...

Re: EBay Finds

Looks savable and only down the road from me. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Rr4AAOSwLRde6P2f/s-l1600.jpg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203023320841 Too many projects to finish and not enough energy. Especially as the Dolomite is going to consume a lot of that. Seller also has a Minor Traveller for sa...

Re: What did you do today?

I am planning to sell it when I have put the remaining bits on :)

It's currently running but without MOT and needs about a day of me screwing the last few bits on, but certainly need to offload it as it's now surplus to requirements. It's a 190+ SE manual trans.

Re: What did you do today?

Monogram ZT-T? It's a ZT-T but not a monogram one - quite a rare colour though apparently for what that's worth. What paint code is it? It still could be considered a monogram if its a non standard ZT colour. Die hards will argue against. I can only think its Seafrost or Ski Blue then. Looks a lot ...

Re: What did you do today?

Swapped the boot lids over on my two AMCs - the spares car is actually much better bodily but worse mechanically - I should make one good one really but I don't have time. Re: EBay Finds

I used to see a minor which had a mild rodded in the 70s look to it. Genuinely was used daily in all weathers, always thought they were a much better alternative to a Beetle Yep, operational heater, proper steering and to misquote Alexei Sayle, both of them look like you're sitting inside a 50s rad...

Re: Crash! Bang! Wallop!

I bet that is very common, it'd explain a lot of the driving standards of people who can't speak English and have been here years. I have been saying for years that based on driving standards I see, many, many people can't possibly have a driving licence. I don't think it's confined to particular d...

That's just reminded me of a female relative who once said "If Jimmy Hill knew how much that beard looks like my fanny he'd shave it off". Sadly no longer with us, but missed for her humour.
