I quite liked the XT500. Yes, by modern standards they have abysmal brakes, piss poor handling and vibrate like a jack hammer, but then I also had an IT 465 which could have taught the XT quite a lot about vibration/bad brakes/abysmal handling!

I have mentioned before about my IT 465. I loved that bike apart from the fact it tried to kill you, even just starting the thing was terrifying!
