Some partial success with the XR2. I had it running for a while whilst I was setting the timing properly (thanks Haynes) & to see if the fan would cut in but lack of time/patience hampered me. I bridged the switch and it came on so I know that it's getting power to it. I've ordered a replacement...

A bit of XR2 fettling today. I removed the radiator and flushed it through, removed the thermostat housing and found no thermostat. Attached the front grille a bit more permanently along with the rear view mirror. Fitted the overriders to the rear bumper. Slowly getting there.

Nah!, it must have stuck whilst it was stood. The seal has physically dropped off the panel. It's fucked mate.
