Awesome riders, with balls bigger than Mario's to ride some of those bikes (including a Honda CR1000 two stroke) up an almost vertical cliff face. https://youtu.be/qaClW5irIOM?si=O2pfojGHqHFIEyUR Ha! I just started watching the Arett...

Re: Looking at a car, insurance history question... Cat C

I believe I'm correct in saying that the factory test regimen for 2CV engines was to run them for 10 hrs at full throttle. Or was it 100? Something like that. Those extraordinarily little engines had no gaskets.

Are they hard to do on a 2cv? I'd thought the cars would be at pretty much blacksmith engineering levels.
Then you know little about 2CVs and less about blacksmithing old cock.

Re: 1979 Trouble Spitfire

Any car that was vaguely sporting was got at by lads, especially I'd say late 70s early 80s. The addition of electronic ignition modules, spotlights, stereos and the like would have proved irresistible to any hot blooded young chap. The 124 coupe I owned had more dodgy wiring than Steve Austin...
