My 'new' car has a 7-speed automatic gearbox and it is, fookin' awesome! It is responsive or slushy depending on what you want it to do or it can be a manual(ish) with flappy paddles behind the steering wheel. It is soooooo much better than the archaic 3 speed in the Jag it is just untrue... mainly ...

I have a fucked spine (big time and in grand style) and while I can drive a manual it hurts like a bastard and continues to do so for days after, so I don't if I can possibly help it.
