Re: What did you do today?

Only if you're a solicitor I believe.

Re: Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.

I'd be apoplectic.

Given the £10 charge you'd need to be there for the 'sweet spot' when your car has just got fully charged but before the penalty kicks in.
Talk about impractical, even beancounters couldn't come up with something so stupid.

I agree that for a Lotus it's horrible but given the so called styling of most EVs it's not bad compared to a lot of them, e.g. BMWs.

Re: Wobland Spottage

Elevating roof I think.

Mine has a side hinged one but you can also have ones hinged at the front or rear.

It's like a fair few other threads, if it's not ignored you get a few disciples piling onto you.

There's about as much open discussion as in Stalin's Russia or Mao's China.
The rigidity of their thinking is unbelievable.

Re: Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.

Somebody's having problems with their MGB: "Hi does anyone know the locations of relay box for indicators, brake lights, as mine are not working thanks" "No relay box dude. Series of bullet connectors in various places. Wiggle some wires. If they did work it's probably just a dirty co...

Re: Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.

It's like NCAP is run by a group of code monkeys, we can do this therefore we will and sod any practical issues like maintainability and useability. Not everyone wants more computing power than the Apollo missions in their car, "cool" as that might be to some. I think that there's also a d...

Re: Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.

Common sense from NCAP? Wonders will never cease. So much of the stuff that makes modern cars shit and ugly and heavy and thirsty and complicated in real life is their fault. Maybe they'll realise windows you can see out of are more important than pillars so strong you can pile trucks on roof too. ...

Yep. No bing, bang bonging when you go over a white line for a start.
I presume in Geordiese that means getting pissed and having a lit firework shoved up your arse.

It's probably more suited to today's conditions than the majority of modern crap.
