Yesterday - AMC wiring - the indicator switch appears to be unique to the RHD models and is undocumented anywhere I can find on the internet. Neither the 67 or 68 Factory Service manuals has the correct wiring colours listed in the wiring diagram. Today - Wiper blades on the ZTT, then a few minutes...

Haha. Mate's van looked a bit down at the back when we collected the two Humber engine & transmissions, six foot each. Steering was lighter than usual then. I could almost hear the springs groaning with relief when we unloaded!

I feared as much but having a stab at it is less of a ball ache than going underneath and removing the sump etc. Which I know I'm going to have to do at some point anyway. I was hoping to free it off in-situ to get it running in the scrapper before removal.

Its currently running a 1098 albeit fucked. I want to sort out the 948, because it's correct for the year and is the only A Series I have never experienced driving. It also has a reputation for being the sweetest of the A's, which would be nice. If that works, I can rebuild the fucked 1098 at my lei...

You see loads of them dumped where they toss them out of the window, I've seen people doing it when they are driving. They put it in a balloon and inhale it. How people get their kicks, eh.

Nah, I like them but only because they are original equipment. If it didn't have them fitted I'd have power all the way, either electric or vacuum operated. The one on the Moggy is actually very effective, it's a Wingard plunger which you repeatedly pump and it does a good job of flooding the screen...
