I'd rather be dealing with a rusty, stuck ABS sensor than a chuffing, leaking and sloppy pushrod engine. Plus all this extra stuff rarely give problems in reality. When it does, it invariably is easy to fix. In my over 20yrs motoring and 35+ cars I've owned, I've never had to replace an ABS sensor....
