There's an old boy around here who drives older fairway cabs as dailys. He had a green one and a red one. I've been tempted to buy one twice in the past but the fuel economy has always put me off.

Another trick I've heard of along the grapevine is a large drill bit through the dpf to allow better flow.

It's not meant to pass an MOT without but it is or was just a visual check. Taxi s are stricter though I believe.

Will the engine be alright after repair? Dpfs are a stupid idea. Unnecessary repairs. Can't you get it hollowed out and remapped?

Mine on the quashqai dipped when following or approaching another car from behind as well as oncoming. There's a delay though and I didn't like using that function.
