Is it not ignition switched? It is, but the way the ducting works you only need the fan when road speed is below about 10mph. Fitted the new fan motor, which should last being as it's a 12v item. It's nearly silent so I'm going to have to watch about leaving it switched on.

Vacuumed and washed the car. Oddly the red paint fell off one wheel trim so that's on the to-do list now.
