I took a trailer load of scrap to Scrappy Urquhart in Forfar. Sorry was looking at that outer race in that brown housing. I see now you have a new bit of housing there to replace it with.

Yep, it was getting the housing out of the knuckle that was the problem

I've done the weld thing when the outer tube of a land rover chassis bush was stuck in the chassis but couldn't see how it would work with this hub. I had an old disc off the x trail in the scrap pile which fitted the Rav hub so used it as a puller along with some sockets as spacers. With a gap betw...

I'll try some heat next and see what happens.
