Maybe one of the fuses hone if they have both stopped working at the same time, I'm assuming they are an ignition controlled live?
Bur yes spent many hours cleaning green bullet connectors and trying to do the same to the female half with a bit of emery wrapped round a screwdriver blade.

I've taxed worse! I passed p on an Interceptor many moons ago for £600, absolutely mint but some light-fingered twat had pinched the engine! My dad put one into a transit recovery they built, 6 cylinders under the bonnet and 2 in the cab. Would spin up the twin wheel rear end with a car on suspende...
