Re: Two wheels good.

Chap who was at my wedding had to practice his low flying quickly at the start of GW1. Used a Buccaneer, got an earful for the panel damage on the underside after flying up a couple of Lochs. Look up what the Vulcan Crews achieved during Red Flag. Making grooves in the dirt with the wing tip. Meanwh...

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain

He now rebuilds Steam Locomotives in a slightly better workspace.

Do you want a bypass Cct that takes over at the ammeters indicated max to accommodate the alternators max output? :geek: Accuracy here is not impo...

Re: Land Rover Rustorashun

The only galvanised from the factory LR chassis I know of are a small number of very early Series 1. Depending on where the steel came from and the supplier that welded the chassis (and of course usage) seems to be what determines how badly the chassis rot. Discos in the 200tdi era chassis are often...

Re: Squire's voitures

Those idiot lights have lenses that move to give day and night (bright and dim) positions. They were fitted in the Sunbeam Stilettos I had. I put a battery on the scrapper and with what limited remaining electrical functions there were tested this out. The blue light is set to bright for comparison...

Re: What did you do today?

Not today but yesterday evening;
Fitted the replacement rear suspension arms to the Octy.
They are made of biscuit tin thickness steel. :roll:
Anyway it is back on its wheels and booked in for alignment on Monday.
