Cleaned up. Can now see the floor again.

Next task is try un-fold the remains of the roof off the other side of the wall.

Christine was a 58 Fury, B-body. It was a midsize vehicle.

This is a C-body, full-size. The largest offering of the sixties.

For scale, a base Fiat Doblo is 195L/80W/88H.
This car is 209L/79W/55H.

It is true YPLAC material.

Tested the gearbox.

It does gearbox things. All forward gears.

Now, there is a transmission dipstick, carefully calibrated from measurements taken by another Plymouth owner tonight.

Front of the pan seal (it has gone hard with age) and the base of the dipstick tube (that's easy, just an O-ring)

It's not going to be so loud when I'm done with it. That's open shorty headers dumping under the car.

Re: 1966 Plymouth Fury 3

A new 30¢ C-clip later and the kickdown assembly is held in place. 20230213_164758.jpg Ordered a new seal. It arrived. This one's not broken. 20230214_161202.jpg Using nuts and bolts and washers I managed to get this one to go in straight. 20230214_164151.jpg Surprisingly, nothing broke. 20230214_16...

Seal arrived in and it's correct.

Need to get a c-clip for it then it can go back in.

Well, nearly. The other seal needs putting in but that's fairly simple.
