If it wasn't so disappointingly impossible to get a signal I'd suggest trying DAB for better stations. But my experience is it just doesn't work in anything that moves.

He's got to be good to keep one of them going.

Leave the nut slightly loose, spray loads of penetrating fluid down the shaft & drive it a bit. It's worked for me in the past.

With diff-locks those things would be unstoppable.

I'd just sling the lump back in without doing any of that, I'm a bodgerist.
