Re: Sics Consolidated Faded Moderns Thread - 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI & 2004 BMW Z4 2.2

I really liked reading your time with that 320, so much so that I started to look for one over here. Shame there doesn't seem to be any 320 petrols, and everything Mercedes estate is twice the price of your car. Add to that, many seem to be imports from countries that put salt on the roads, judging ...

It’s all just details. Get it bought. You won’t* regret it. I managed to avoid looking at the advert until today. Screenshot_2024-04-09-11-03-33-810_ie.donedeal.android.jpg I'll stick to the previous plan* Fucker is winking at me again as the "on hold" spiel has disappeared. Screenshot_20...

Re: Two wheels good.

The Royal Enfield dealer have just got a new 452cc watercooled Himalayan in, so went to have a look at it. Most impressed, looks so much better built, and with more thought, than my 411 air-cooled one. My 411 has been a great bike, 100% reliable over 20,000 miles New one here is €6,187 on the road p...

Re: Two wheels good.

Loved Albania when I rode there, a country of vast contrasts and unbelievably friendly and helpful people. I'm going over to the Balkans next year, but think I'll get a ferry from Barcelona to Civitavecchia in Italy, ride across Italy west to east to Ancona, and get another ferry to Split. Ferry cos...

The owner of a hotel we have stayed in a few times in Croatia runs around on it. 50cc, four speed foot change, expansion chamber. He has owned it from new. Never seen another one, let alone one for sale.

Re: EBay Finds

The industry is paying me a good wage generated by all the excitement so I'm not complaining. Given the bollocks the eBay LLM generates, it's a bit risky for sellers as descriptions form part of the sale. So incorrect information could easily render a seller liable for misrepresentation. That Execu...

Re: Two wheels good.

told me how her DAS lessons are going. I was surprised they had them out this morning in winds forecast at 45-50mph for slow speed riding, U-turns & the like for the Mod 1. No wonder she struggled a bit, most people with licences don't like wind, especially at low speed. Reminds me of riding ho...
