It looks like the Senator had extra rustproofing from new. There are grommet holes in a few places. It passed its mot yesterday and the tester said it was in very good condition underneath. It’s never been welded. The Royale has had a bit of welding-underneath and the strut towers have been done. It...

Thanks all,

The Senator will be used most days. I used to alternate between the Senator, Royale and my Sierra. Retired now so should have time to fix the Royale-there are two patches of welding to be done as well as the brakes.
