This is a Jubilee. It reckon it could have parked in the BMW’s wheel arch.

Re: What did you do today?
So where is the Jag then? It’s at Jenner Towers amongst the Maseratis, Bitter, Rare Jags, Triumphs and other strange exotica Rob happens to have in stock or being stored. It’s warm dry and thoroughly loved in his care and will come back when I eventually move house/merge into next door. My garage h...

Re: What did you do today?
I had a busy car day today. 7F8B5DAD-879C-46FD-9ED4-B7FB9B3AD222.jpeg D750DDC7-C338-4BE8-9CA8-8EB1D31BE345.jpeg The Springtime start-up and check over. Started on the button with no electrical help (that’s a fucking miracle!). Got up to temperature and stayed there, lots of amps flowing, no leaks, n...

Re: Is it important for a car to have poke?
I’d love to drive a D16 Volvo. Never seen one before. I don’t think UK got them. Anyway in such miserly POD-Solutions motors, the wagons tend to pull out into the overtaking lane out of sympathy. When they clock a relatively modern pretty-wheeled German car, they just shrug and think ‘should have bo...

Re: Is it important for a car to have poke?
Car swap day - handed the 318 back in exchange for my old bus. Just joining the A11 dual carriageway from a minor road junction is all I need to kneel in praise of poke. Pick a small gap between the trucks and floor it. I’d have been still waiting there now in the 318. 3FD5918C-4FC3-4868-86E4-95EE63...

Re: Found pics
O yes. I’d say you were spot on.
I need to make a correction to my previous post - the kiln in the old photo is not the same kiln as currently standing. The current one was built in 1999 and only had 5 years of service. The one in the old photo would have been mid 70s.

Re: Found pics
So what’s the red one at the bottom of third pic? I know it’s low resolution and grainy as hell but I thought it might be an Isuzu. That pic brought back a few memories for me and my time at English factories where the nicest cars were not in front of the offices, but around the back in the mud. The...

Re: Found pics
That tall lime kiln is still standing today - the rest of that place was flattened in 2005
And finally one for Ben
