I see my Merc as a Mark 2 Granada 2.8 GL estate. Space, pace and no toys to go wrong in the future. My 350 is a proper base spec (only option was airmatic and a coat hanger) - a 250 could easily have cost more to buy.

Bollocks to the misery guts dissing of this car. It’s genuinely really pleasing to see. It’s older than my Jag but looks so much more modern. I’d be proud to drive that around.

5ACB2989-966E-4B57-8F35-D70AC38190A7.jpeg Still have the 350CDi. Plan to keep for a while yet. Utterly boringly reliable and as big as a pickfords lorry when required. Coming up 10 years since I bought this. 47289D52-4022-46B7-84CD-B81644785F92.jpeg Officially Mrs F’s car but I use it on sunny days...

I’d agree but the youngest one would be nearly 20 years old now. That’s 60 Peugeot years I guess. This CC has only driven 48k miles - it feels like it just left the showroom.LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 5:06 pm At the risk of incurring the Wrath of Nergle I'd rather have one than a Focus CC.

Re: Wobland Spottage
There must have been a fair bit of lockdown overtime (or PPE contracts!) in this neck of the woods. 2 Astons - one light green DB9 convertible and one burgundy DB11. It could be that the green one is just visiting - the two left arm spinners who inhabit that knackered old place look like they haven’...
