I think its the fact that it isnt getting used, ie driven much. Stick your coffee shop's logo on it by all means, or any other business, my local motor factors has an A35 van they use for that. Plus its the ubiquity of over priced coffee wrapped in sickly hipsterness that annoys many.

AMC did market the Pacer in the UK. It didn't sell all that well.... :)

I find many old cars with synchro on all 4 still like to be popped into reverse to help em into first, fuck knows why though.

Nothing for us at those prices unfortunately, much as I'd like one or two. I looked at a couple of the Jags and Rangies. I didn't think he was badly out of line - but I cannae afford any of it so it's really just windae shopping the noo. I always wondered how he funds his cars - it's surely not fro...

Used to be an AMC Ambassador around here, in Tetbury of all places I saw it, white '71-'72 I think. A neighbour had a Rambler station wagon, still has a Rebel rag top, he had a Javelin back in the 80s. Noticed he'd got a big Jaguar, a mark VII? in the garage now, he must be early 80's.

I regret not buying an early 60s Rambler sedan some years ago, straight six, RHD in good unmolested condition, I think it was £1800.
