Re: Parallel Renault 16 happenings

Looks like it was done by the same bozo that welded plates on top of plates on my T2. As it was all covered by thick underseal I didn't find out until I had the underside blasted.
I think it's now a couple of hundred pounds lighter as it now has factory spec thickness floors, sills etc..

Re: Orange rapportering - F133 and other shit

I don't want to cut across your plans Ghosty but would the Volvo make a good forum 'bike'?

I'm happy to put some money in to get it back on the road.

I'm new to this sort of thing so how does the insurance side of things work?

Re: OMG GGG TNT - Only for The Climate™ Improvement®

We spent a week in Lancaster last year and drove around the Trough of Bowland, apparently that was where TVR used to test their cars in the Peter Wheeler years if not at othertimes .
Just as nice if not nicer than the Lake District but without the hordes of tourists.

Re: Trucks Lorries Vans Commercial Whatever

It's more appropriate than the Boeing 737 Max thread I copied across.

Maybe better in the 'Motorised Conveyances' bit though?

I'm sure one of our mods could do some work that they won't be thanked for.

Re: Chadder's MGB, now 13 years off road.

My missus' argument is that her car, a 36,000 mile Skoda Roomster, cost 5k and here I am spending that amount on a pair of sills for my 'toy' which she reckons I won't use. Emotion rather than logic has prevailed however with the proviso of if I don't use it I'll sell it. I'm just waiting for the lo...

I'd read it.

I'd like to see an alternative view.

Re: Found pics

Presumably the air pressure when its moving forces the 'spoilers' back and stops the boot lid from flying open over bumps.
If they're removable you also have a couple of benches for your kids if you have an impromptu picnic.
It may look a bodge but obviously deep thought has gone into this.
