Re: What did you do today?
No need for the jobby count as that is one of the things that have no place on a collection. Pictures of miserable trains and the snacks you need for the journey are appreciated though.

Re: Place related car names
A few Hotchkiss ones are Cabourg, Artois and Anjou. I am sure there are a few more as well.

Re: EBay Finds
Nah not for me as the costs of importing have gone through the roof the last couple of years I have decided not to do it any more. It took 2 months to sort out the paperwork on the Hotchkiss. Anyway it seems the ex HMC Mulsanne turbo has resurfaced with a trader. The description is total bollocks an...

Re: Two wheels good.
It was down to 24% when I got here this morning and put it on charge. A charge costs about 14p so I was told but takes quite a few hours. I was a bit out with the range according to the trip computer it had only done 16 miles. I will reset it again and make a note of the total miles as well next tim...

Re: Two wheels good.
We have had roadworks every weekend at the roundabout into the estate where I live so the electric scooter has been put to use. It is great for nipping around town and filtering past the really long que's this work creates each weekend but the range is total shit. When it is on a full charge it flie...

Re: Sics Consolidated Faded Moderns Thread - 2003 E320 & 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI
Well the Merc kind of has brakes. I am just waiting on the caliper then bleed it properly. The SBC light is on which is no real surprise as one caliper hasn't been bled at all. Hopefully the caliper turns up tomorrow as I have a funeral to go to on Thursday. I will get it done Saturday if I have to ...

Re: What did you do today?
The Merc has been a bit of a nightmare but nothing compared to the cunt with the VW Transporter. I go out of my way to find a cheap way around the failed body computer for him and when he picks it up he starts moaning. I personally did nothing to the van other than spending ages hunting parts and ta...

Re: What did you do today?
Rough old Merc in today. I think I had better replace these brake pipes. The o/s/f is just starting to leak by the look of it.

It must be the one then. Hopefully he has been able to recode the used body computer as it went back order with VW and the poxy van has been sitting there 4 weeks now.
