Re: What did you do today?

Found another old treasure trove of old VWs locally. There were a bunch of old beetles and an oval windowed beetle. Re: New NCAP lunacy

Children left behind in locked cars anywhere are another area where Euro NCAP is intervening, with a new requirement that five star cars must have Child Detection Systems that will monitor the car’s interior for the presence of an occupant, and will be able to notify the driver, or the emergency se...

Re: Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.

I think the acceleration is incredible and just for that, I’m looking into converting a classic at some point. The ideal would be to convert a tired S1 Lotus Esprit - but that’s just a little more of a pipe dream than converting the 912 or the Ghia. There are drop in kits for both, with regenerative...

Even with the right footwear, it can be slippery. The reflective tabard is another sensible comment. Let’s the plod know y...

Re: Cars For Sale on the Roadside (not eBay)

Saw this today. Unfortunately it was all I could do to snap this shot as I drove by, but will have a proper look this weekend if it’s still there.

Re: The car you always promised yourself (but never got around to buying)

 Jesus christ , i've just looked at TR4 prices ! Stupidly cheap in the US. I turned one down last year, built by the owners club, for a guy with cancer who passed. Completely restored by light-bulb sniffer types for $26k. That was an exception, but at least in MN, there seem to be an inordin...
