Re: 1956 Chevrolet 210
I think the appropriate pricing level at this time ran - Chev/Pontiac/Buick/Olds/Cadillac. Actual retailing was less than transparent back then with factory price lists virtually a trade secret and the dealers were left to squeeze what they could from the buyers. Also each line's top models tended ...

Cheers, it'll be 61 in October. Big plus is that it has never been restored so that is Dagenham's finest paint effort complete with some runs. First owner kept it for 30 years. No I am very bad at moving it about but the tyres are fine albeit pretty old so could do with being replaced next year, The...

Re: What did you do today?
I have fearfully neglected my poor little Anglia for quite a while, think the last time it was out on the road terrorising other motorists with its mighty 39bhp was August 2018, that was also the last time it visited a petrol station. Last June/July I started it, moved it out of the garage and let i...

15903355873985297231826459691235.jpg I had one of those also in white, cost me 100 quid and served me faithfully for a couple of years. It was slowly rotting, indeed the offside wing mirror slowly descended into the wing which was itself made mainly of the finest Isopon. I took the mirror off and f...

Re: What did you do today?
I checked the Impala's tyre pressures and pumped up the fronts which had a lost a couple of pounds. Checked under the bonnet, okay hood, and all looks okay. Tomorrow weather permitting it's off to put some fresh fuel in it and give it a little bit of exercise as it hasn't been driven since Septembe...

Re: Found pics
When someone gave me this in 2010 I barely knew what it was. I gave it a clean and it went off to a taxi-type gentleman from Peterborough for about £300. I still don't know if that's good or bad. Hobbits 09 021.jpg A fine vehicle, I have a 20yo Primera as my main car, had it for nine years now. The...

Evening all
Hmmm what to say? Well I am venturing onto here after being on the other place for a while. Still own my Impala, coming up for 31 years, also have my Anglebox. Runaround is my W-reg Primera, jeez will have owned it for nine years in a few months time. Mind you it did cost me £550 so I do need to get...
