When I really have had a bellyful of this place, I favour Belgium as a a place to bugger off to. Lovely country, nice people, very underrated. Luxembourg also.

The clusters changed around 9/82 when they went from K Jetronic to LE Jetronic, and again in 1/86 when the three red lights was reduced to one. There is an aftermarket circuit board available to replace all that old crap from this guy: https://www.e28.nl/en/tellerbak-reparatie/ But, a wiring diagram...

15 minutes on a ramp. Remove the refill plug (17mm and F.T) and then the drain plug (ditto). Refill capacity on the Getrag 250 box on 4 cyl cars and smaller sixes is 1.1 litres. I finally (hopefully) sorted the oil leak on my 318Ti. One of those leaks that rarely troubles the dipstick but soaks everything.
