Deffo the turbot & not just a split hose so it's dumping boost after the sensor? No deffo turbo seals - piles of oil getting sucked in and burnt. I haven’t personally inspected it but the garage is a decent one and they say there is acres of play in the shaft - also you can hear the turbo scree...

Well that ABS issue is a little insignificant now - as the turbo has blown. It makes a comedy noise and Greta would die if she saw all the smoke coming out of the back - I am embarrassed to drive it home really, but have no choice. I think it will be getting scrapped as I am not sure it's worth the ...

If you are considering an X350 XJ I highly recommend the petrol V6 over the diesel ones, having had both.

Had to go to fucking London. I remembered that remote gadget I fitted to the fuel burning heater on my Discovery. Set it going, took the hound for a quick walk. Jump in the car and off we go to the station, nice and toasty. Bonus.
