Re: Found pics

Fucking S800 Honda in that pic!

I had one many years ago (NAF 5F) that my stepfather borrowed and wrote off! He then had to give me money and I bought my Toyota Crown. An excellent result I thought.

Re: What did you do today?

Used the Jag, it's a lovely old heap, it really is. Smooth, fast(ish) and very quiet.

As a bonus, Bella has one rear window while his royal Chesterness has the other, It's good fun using the door mirrors and see a mutts face/ears/jowls flapping about in the breeze!

Re: 2 seater Merc.

I was never a fan of the R170, steering box seems to deaden the steering and personally, I just like the R171 front end more. However, that looks a bit of alright.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Dead easy. If you have an impact gun, blitz the bolt underneath and it will fly out.

Re: What did you do today?

Used the Merc today, sun made a bid for freedom (from the clouds) so I had the roof down... not 'cos I is a poseur (we established that I am a LONG time ago) but because I am still trying to dry out the inside so it stops steaming up the windscreen. ESP warning, as expected, had disappeared so all f...

Re: Have I dropped a Bolok?

Sound like they are skint and trying it on with you as their 'Cashcow'. Not sure how to proceed but getting the car back from them as a matter of urgency sounds like the correct move.

Re: What did you do today?

Swapped cars today (the Merc for the Jag) as, after its flat battery I am wary of leaving it for longer than a week. Obviously, the ESP warning has occurred, it always seems to when the battery is a bit 'down' and goes away after a quick run to get some charge in her. It bloody annoys me! But, it is...

Re: What did you do today?

Oh yeah... I ordered a continuation Service Book for the Jag on Sunday evening (eBay) with a delivery date for Friday to Monday of next week. It arrived this morning!

It;s a jolly good read as well, interesting for non-fiction :)

Re: What did you do today?

I snapped the key clean off in the boot lid of 'my' (wife really) new Ford Granada (mk3). Bit of a bugger as I'd just put the dogs in the boot! Fortunately, the sunroof was partly open and so the missus, who was yet another of my petite blondes (Kyle's Mum) managed to squeeze and arm through enough ...
