Re: Drum's motorised conveyances

Nice little car, other than the wheels! If you ever have cause to weld the rest of the sill, be very careful. There are wires in one side, thanks Renault.

Re: What did you do today?

Apparently US buyers are paying a lot more. So they're being gathered together into big lumps by buyers and sent over there for more money. Also value entirely depends on the cat and vehicle. 172 cat is apparently around £450, while a 182 cat is less at £275. Not scrap price surely? Renaults usuall...

Old Honda cat is around £180 in scrap.

Re: My everyday transport. Xantia woes

It certainly had an unusual stance last time I saw it in the car park. Glad you've sorted it. Yeah it broke its belt about ten miles from home, so no hydraulics at all. So first you lose the power steering, then the brakes although Xantia handbrakes are way better than most cars. I limped back but ...

Re: Hello, its me, is that you?

Hello there and welcome. Is Autoshite still going? Last I heard it had died on its arse due to having been run by a bunch of complete wankers. Kind of still going but only in the way Muddy Fox bikes are still going. Used to be good quality and individual but is now just mass produced shit for the h...

Re: Crash! Bang! Wallop!

Want a bet that was an out standing stolen that wasn't identified before being crushed? Possibly... I'm not saying the Police ever say anything other than the truth but to get a seized vehicle back that has been seized is easy. A small fine and proof of insurance is all you need, so long as its wit...

Re: Mini Maserati

I didn't do that but I still remember the first new 'A' reg car. A red XR3

Incidentally, my Mrs dad liked my fancy new car but asked why it was Scottish registered. First part of the plate? S166. So 66 plate apparently...
