Re: It's me
Great to see you here! The Ian thing is, as I understand it, not a completely personal thing (although having ignored me entirely when recognizing him and saying a polite hello at Cambridge Services a few years ago did colour him a tad poorly for me). I think the hero-worship stuff from his own litt...

Re: Wobland Spottage
A couple from Milan today. Not a great deal of chance to snap stuff as I have to navigate in Chinese to a chap who likes to drive like an Italian. 8B6537B0-166C-408E-AF75-8EFB2BE88CE7.jpeg 22A29EAA-64FC-4301-9573-10F02BD28FA9.jpeg Just a quick note to any of you here who volunteered their services f...

Re: Wobland Spottage
Christ it’s dismal weather in northern Spain right now! 11 degrees and pissing down. I brought shorts for this? Anyway Bilbao deprived me of a Renault 19 just now as a rain drop smashed into my phone lens. But here is a 5 minute hotel to restaurant haul. 543D51E9-1496-41D4-9579-0FDD1492B452.jpeg 93F...

Re: Jaguar Sovereign: rust and rehabilitation.
Quads standard on the 12 even though it was a Sovereign spec. I think the 3.2 and 4.0 S models wore quads too. Quads are lovely on a Daimler, and suit the Majestic better. Rob Jenner has a really weird spec cream insignia Majestic 3.2 with taxi spec and quads. Looks really gawky. Japan had a few lav...

Re: Jaguar Sovereign: rust and rehabilitation.
There used to be a rose bronze 4.0 Sovereign near Tesco on the A140 outside Norwich (L610WDU - a few digits away from mine and another 12 (L644WDU) that lives nearby) that always looked glorious. Stopped to chat with the owner and he loved it. Right up until he ditched it when in failed to start one...

Re: Jaguar Sovereign: rust and rehabilitation.
I made up my mind to sell my V12 the other day. Living in Asia, being everywhere except UK when not in Asia, not having a place of my own (renting it out) to keep it and costing a fair bit (although at mates’ rates) to store at Jenner Towers, not seeing a future where I can use it and not trusting m...

Re: Overseas asides *Cote D’Azure edition*
That place looks idyllic. Can almost smell the coffee and croissants... I will be in San Sebastián next month, and a few Italian towns. I am really looking forward to a bit of that.
