I was thinking that too. In all seriousness, I probably have got one major car purchase left in my meagre "retirement" fund and yes I do count ten grand as "major" - three times the amount I have ever spent in one go on any vehicle. I would seriously consider something like that ...

Agreed, having been around these things when new (albeit as a sprog) I have clear memory of some of those details. The 1200s were always boggo, though, the larger engined Beetles having more in the way of creature comforts.

You do not strike me as a time-waster, though! T2 or anything more plentiful would, I guess, be a little easier but the size of the clientele brings its own problems. I know the Minor Club operate two or three paid posts, one of those at least is full time.

You would still have to transfer the parts between "posts" In my experience (I've served in major roles with two OCs over the years) these jobs work best when one person has full control and discretion. You of course do need to cover the eventuality that the poor bloke drops dead mid-role ...
