Re: Fleet Shuffling

Looks good. 1500 at that age I think? Don't believe the horror stories about the bottom end, I thrashed the same engine in a Midget for years without a single issue. Yeah 1500. Engine runs well without hesitation. Release bearing makes a noise. Chain possibly a bit slack when warm. Both easily sort...

No. It's why it attracted me to it as I like different colour classic cars especially if not factory colour. I love red or yellow spitty but this is a nice green.

Aston Martin Green I believe. It's kinda like the classic 60s Mustang Fastback colour too.

Re: Fleet Shuffling

I've found a Spitfire and agreed a price. I can't 100% say yes as something needs to go. Almost certainly the Sprint but I'm hoping I can get enough to do effectively a straight swap financially. This is a proven runner and driver. Bodywork isn't 100% but it's a good 90% and I must not poke. Worse t...

Re: Fleet Shuffling

How do you find your TT to park? I think the miorrors are crap and too small. Mine's often parked on the wonk and I usually straigten it up when I realise. I don't find it too bad. Small enough to easily reverse in without too much hassle. Wing mirrors are a bit on the small side but I'm used to ju...

Re: 1963 Rover P4 110

I really am quite rubbish with filler and paint. Even these pictures flatter it. I'd spent longer on it but I needed to get it done tonight as it's just about warm enough to dry and it's due to rain again tomorrow. Better done than perfect. I also need to find where to buy a cellulose spray can of J...

Re: Fleet Shuffling

Any chance you could get the midget outside under a cover to give you space to finish off the dolomite? I could but I enjoy working on the Midget a lot more. Which is the crux of the issue. I don't enjoy working on the Dolomite. Looking at it right now, there is still a shed load to do from even wh...
