What is it with ball joint splitters. 40 odd years I have been in this game and never used one and certainly would never use one of those forks. There is just no need.

Sorry given the choice the plastic pig wins everytime against a Golf. It is far more interesting to drive than a boring modern even if it is a bit shit.

Bought this last night. Not a bad old thing 1.4 petrol on a '57 plate. It belonged to a friends late father and hasn't been used for a while so needs a few jobs doing. They reported the clutch slipping on the mot but I am told it isn't (I think I will believe the mot tester on that one. Not sure if ...

Bloody hell you lot carry some crap about. I think the only thing that sits in my cars permanatly is an ice scrapper. Every winter I struggle to find one so just leave one in each car. That is a lovely old thing, it's a shame the tinwork doesnt have the original paint as it has a lovely used look about it.
