Re: Squire's voitures

Thank you chaps, it's a rare bird I was fortunate to come by. After years of small engined shite sitting at 60 MPH this has been a revelation for long-distance travel.

Re: Squire's voitures

Time for some Snipe news. The front brakes used to squeal like a bitch until I fitted these shims from Past Parts that Angrydicky helped me with finding. IMG_5235.JPG To briefly recap, I have done a lot of work to this car to bring it up to scratch. The brakes were giving trouble because the servo w...

Re: Weird new car warranty exclusions

On a different tangent, Waterman made a Hundred Year Pen announced with a fanfare of publicity, of which I have an example, guaranteed for a century. However it was only the nib covered by the guarantee, not the lucite pen barrel which are prone to crumble away over time.

Re: Superb Pathe film, BMC sponsored?

Good old film. Nice to see the old police Wolseleys. Those 6/80 and Morris Six cars had a funny engine with an unhealthy appetite for exhaust valves. I think 15-20k miles was the norm.

The autojumble, or, I should've stayed in bed, thread.

I do enjoy a good root through other people's cast offs. Can't but help myself sift through boxes of filthy rubbish in the hope of finding that elusive gem. I have had some good stuff over the years, some of it rare and valuable at prices reasonable to me. However, as time wears on, I can be less an...
