No, small practical fins are fine. My late mother's first car was a Triumph Herald. She said you could see all the corners of the car from the driving seat because small fins. She was always* right.

Yes John, you are very wrong, it only applies to the larger variety. Restrained, modest and small European fins are excluded. Anything excessively huge is just decadent peacocking bilge.

Who decides what's larger or small? Me.

Indeed it would, but then cars that spectacularly fail their test don't get presented for test on my watch - I don't need spoon-fed a list of things I need to do to pass. ;)

Not even that, just historic tax class. MOT EXEMPT M8 Not quite old enough for historic tax yet. It'll be next year for those built/registered in 1979. Don't think you can get MOT exemption either as you can't declare it in the historic tax class as I think they're linked. However I'm sure will say...
