Re: Found pics
Did you spot the Austin Nash Metropolitan?
Yes! Even if I hadn't I would have been sure there was at least one lurking there.....They were standard issue scrapyard fodder in the late 60s when I used to poke around as a kid until the foreman chucked me out. Even when I was 9 or 10 I remember...

Re: Found pics
Wonder if that giant stack, despite the Cambridge, isn't in Germany. Several clues - many Opel/VW carcasses, no number plates and finally I can't imagine any self-respecting scrappy in Sixties England wearing a hard hat..... These are fantastic images, though. I love the Lincs-registered 100E with i...

After Brexit, these in black, with a Winkworth bell on the bumper will become the staple of Police Forces around the country.

Re: Under the Borgward, down by the sea.........
Can't really believe there is anyone left outside of a care home who is bothered what a Borgward even was. Just another cynical marketing move probably. I am only grateful the fucking Chinese haven't yet dragged out the Riley name, or indeed the Wolseley one.

Re: 2019 Anniversaries
Despite its body style was fashionable one Summer only, they stoically chucked them out for nine long years.
The rusty back doors off the miserable van version lasted for 21 years. I'll re-phrase that - they were stamped out for 21 years. Only Morris Minor and Mini panelwork had an equivale...

Re: 2019 Anniversaries
Have some dismal 1959 shit. It was the last year you could buy this from Ford.... 103e.jpg Despite being called Popular it was a hateful thing. This couple have packed theirs with kindling and taken it out to be incinerated. The woman is getting very impatient as Dad can't seem to light the burning ...

Re: Listless owner with a listing R16
I had forgotten about the Pennant. Lovely things, by far the best of the little Standards. Mate had one back in the day and despite an unfortunate shade of dog-dick pink it provided many memorable jaunts....
