Re: The Parallel Universe of R16 Ownership

On the carb side of things I think I've got a Solex Pict 31, can't remember which version, in my T2 parts stash.

Would this be of any use? If it might be I'll dig it out and take some pics.

Re: What did you do today?

So would I. Even if the indicator doesn't work as it's a BMW.
My son's Pluriel has a mahoosive dent in the back but we've been driving it around for a couple of years or so now as it's perfectly safe, just looks battered if you see it from the back.

Re: What did you do today?

I think that it depends on the company.

This happened to my eldest's Pluriel and Tesco, believe it or not, dealt with the whole thing pretty slickly.

Re: Weird new car warranty exclusions

I thought twice about posting it on here but decided to do so as I assume some will run newish cars and it also seems weird to me.
(My own cars are now 1968 and 1974 as I didn't replace the Galaxy which was basically used as a university shuttle bus for my sons)

Weird new car warranty exclusions

Something just reminded me of my 2007 Galaxy that got written off. Basically water was getting in through the roof , probably on both sides, resulting in a in-car paddling pool for the middle row passengers and a potential bill of at least £4,500 for new airbags, partial loom etc..plus labour. Went in the ST. Stupid exhaust is banging like a twat into the body and spring. I'll have to see not only a out changing the hangers but maybe getting some of that bandage stuff so when it does hit it don't clank as much.
