Re: Two wheels good.

I'd have never advised my DAS punters to buy a 125. Far better to buy that 600 Bandit/Hornet and maybe spunk another £45 on an extra two hour DAS lesson before their test. Our pass rate on the 500s was higher than that of our 125 pupils. But I can't (officially) ride a Bandit on the road until I pa...

Re: Two wheels good.

Get an old RD125LC or TZR125, any of the mid to late 1980s two stroke machines will do. Restricted they will do 70mph, derestricted they will do 90mph and more, they handle well, have good brakes and feel more like a proper motorcycle than modern four stroke strangled machines will. When the time c...

Oh bollocks - they are on my list of possibles due to them being suited to larger riders and having slightly more power than my lawnmower.

Re: Two wheels good.

Thinking of finally doing my bike test - does the panel think it’s worth getting a 125 of my own or should I do the full DAS and then get myself something less embarrassing? All the 125s I see for sale at anything like a price I could consider look as if they would struggle to pull my Lardy and dist...

Spent some time retrieving 56 Chevy parts from the roof of my garage as the buyer is bringing his van down to collect all the odds and sods before we move the car.

Re: 1956 Chevrolet 210

Charges are 4.5% + VAT with a minimum charge of £350 + VAT. They collect the payments and no sale no fee. So far I am happy - I will be even happier if I get paid. I thought (hoped) it might fetch more but it's the usual story - anything I have is worth fuck all and anything I want is top dollar. II...
