Re: What did you do today?
Yeah, he loved it, when it worked.
Next week is fix or fuck off week for it.
Hopefully fix. Worst case, sell to Panhard for £2k and spend a bit on the Octavia VRS and a bit on the 205.

Re: What did you do today?
I bought another 205 STDT. This one has more metal where my other one doesn't. Reasoning being, between the two of them, I may be able have a useable vehicle. My son is really interested in cars now, to the point, anything without a turbo is not worth looking at. Good lad. I have a xantia with a kno...

Re: Two wheels good.
They were £40 a game when I played them.
That was 1996 though, £70 doesn't sound too unreasonable to me.
Expensive? Yes.
So was £50 in 1996.

Re: Two wheels good.
My Cagiva SuperCity was bought for £1700. It'll whip the arse off an RD125 but it's worth nothing compared to one of them. It's faster than my old Mito and my current one, it has a 34mm carb, my Mitos both had 28mm carbs. Has a reduced squish band for more compression and a massive air box. I had 95...

Re: Pug 107 minus mx5 plus Audi A8
I work local enough that I can be back within 15 minutes. It's no problem if I leave for an hour to sort it out.
Let me know your plans closer to the time.
Obviously, move over to PM for the finer details.

That'd buy it as it sits. I'm sick of the sight of it.
As is my Mrs, who was right all along.
If I can't get it going by next weekend, arrange transport and it's yours. Again.
Edit.
Fuck it, arrange transport for after the weekend, it's yours.

Re: Pug 107 minus mx5 plus Audi A8
Still not entirely sure. I need to try and bump start it, I reckon it'll go. The immobiliser lights go out but no crank. I think the ignition switch died in the water incident. If it goes off a bump, I'll replace the ignition switch. If it doesn't, it's going on eBay as spares repairs. Worth a bit i...
