Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Thanks for your help!

I'll ask on Jag-Lovers as well, then squeeze some petrol into it and give it a go.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

The petrol will be Shell V-Power since that's my local station. I have driven the car with 2 year old petrol (albeit freshened) with no ill effects, but this is at least 3 years old.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Thanks for the help.

I guess it might be more sensible to be cautious and have the tank drained. There is quite a lot of petrol in it as I freshened it with some new stuff last year. There seem to be companies specialising in draining tanks - does anyone have any recommendations?

The petrol in the car is really old now - like 3 years old. Will it be a problem to drive the car with such old petrol? - I d...

Re: Squire's voitures

Approximately 550 miles covered in Allegro t'other day, down and up the Kingdom, a most successful raid. Keeping up with and exceeding modern traffic, a steady 60-70 and over 40 to the gallon. Not bad for a 46 year old Aggro eh? The only downside was the imbecilic clots on the radio none of whom I ...

The P38 is a handsome thing, it has aged beautifully well.

Re: EBay Finds

I remember it being offered for sale a couple of times before. Oddly, no mention of JLR factory build in those days. There are a few threads about it on xj40.com. In 2014: https://www.xj40.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=7527 In 2012: https://www.xj40.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4616 IIRC it was also o...
